About James
A former theater student, James has been in several productions including a memorable performance as Javert in Les Miserables. With a deep, calming, laid back, and articulate voice, James is a professionally trained voice actor with experience in many different careers. When he's not behind the mic, James likes to write, play video games, do carpentry, weight lift, and do kung fu.
While also having degrees in Economics, German, American Indian Studies, and Orthotics and Prosthetics, James has many passions. One of James's favorite areas of study is linguistics. While bilingual in German and English, James also has spent several years learning Anishinaabe (Ojibwe or Chippewa) as well as ‘Ōlelo Hawai'i. James is constantly working to understand the world around him and to experience cultures in a respectful way.
James has excellent range with a smooth, deep voice. Among the characters on his demo, he is able to provide flexibility with creating many more characters and always has a unique outlook on a script. He's excellent at mimicry, and provides a beautiful singing voice. His other notable skills include an adaptive nature, an exceptional attention to detail, and an ability to follow instructions to the letter.
